How does my data sync between devices?
Smoke & Ash uses Apple's iCloud to sync your cigar collection, humidors, and smoking sessions across all your devices. Make sure you're signed into the same iCloud account on your iPhone and iPad, and that iCloud is enabled for the app in your device settings.
Do I need an internet connection to use the app?
The app works offline with locally cached data. Your changes will sync to iCloud automatically when you reconnect to the internet. You can browse your collection, log smoking sessions, and manage humidors without an active connection.
How do I add cigars to my collection?
Browse the cigar catalog, find the cigar you want, and tap "Add to Collection." You'll be able to specify the quantity, price paid, and which humidor to store them in.
What is the low stock alert feature?
You can set a threshold for each cigar in your collection. When your quantity drops below that threshold, the cigar will appear in your Shopping list so you know it's time to reorder.
How does the camera measurement feature work?
First, calibrate a reference object (like your finger) by measuring it once with a ruler. Then, when measuring a cigar, place your reference object next to it and take a photo. The app uses the known size of your reference to calculate the cigar's length and ring gauge.
Can I export my collection data?
Your data is stored in your iCloud account. Export functionality may be added in a future update. In the meantime, your data is always accessible on any device signed into your iCloud account.
What iOS version is required?
Smoke & Ash requires iOS 17.0 or later. The app is optimized for both iPhone and iPad.
How do I cancel my subscription?
You can manage or cancel your subscription through your Apple ID settings. Go to Settings → Your Name → Subscriptions, then select Smoke & Ash to modify or cancel your subscription.
